Sarah Kmita, LPC-MHSP

Sarah is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Nationally Certified Counselor, and approved clinical supervisor, and is an Executive Committee Board Member of the non-profit, mental health organization Tennessee Voices (TNV). Sarah is the head of counselor clinical supervision and training at PSYCHē and is licensed in both Tennessee and Massachusetts. She has been intensively trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and is seasoned in using Prolonged Exposure (PE) for sexual trauma. She pioneered PSYCHē's, Environmental Intervention™ (EV) Program and has been featured on multiple news stories offering her professional opinion on tough issues in the field of Psychology.

Sarah completed her graduate degree at Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN, and her clinical hours for licensure at Skyline Madison Psychiatric Hospital where she served as a full-time therapist in the inpatient adolescent unit. She is notorious for dotting i's and crossing t's and helps to ensure the same for all PSYCHē staff. Dr. Vaughn and Sarah often partner together on difficult family cases and strive to bring about the best outcomes for every person who comes to PSYCHē for help.

Sarah is available to see clients in Tennessee, Florida, and Massachusetts.
